Hoover High School's 1994 P.A.L.S. presented a unique program, Mind and Body Bazaar, to introduce African American students to professions rarely sought by African American youth. In a very frank discussion, rocket scientist Michael Ross tells what it has taken for his success as a rocket scientist. P.A.L.S. was co-founded in 1988 by teacher Tchaiko Kwayana and parent Dorthea Curry nee Stewart.
