The child in this video, Isaac, is a NON VERBAL Autistic 8 year old boy that can sing! One day I was teaching a SPED music class, and he broke out in song, singing the Peabo Bryson Disney duet "Beauty and the Beast"! I was in tears! For several weeks, I tried to capture him singing on video, but he would freeze up. One day, he started singing Beabo Bryson's other Disney Duet "A Whole New World", and he was singing Acapella (with no music accompaniment)! I recorded him on my iPhone, took his recording back to my studio, and discovered that he was singing in the same key as the original version, but he had no music reference! He has perfect pitch! He also would change the sound of his voice from the male to the female vocalist! I then recorded music to accompany his voice, and played it for Isaac. When he heard himself on the recording, he started singing along! I took videos with my iPhone, and a friend of mine who is a great videographer edited this film together so I could share with others! Please share this video, because there are other Autistic children out there like Isaac that have amazing music abilities, and these abilities can be used as a form of communication! For example, after Isaac started singing for me, his teacher tried singing a question to Isaac, and he answered in song! This could happen for others like Isaac! Let's help these children communicate! God Bless!
