On September 10, 2012, new students at Boston College School of Social Work participated with faculty, administration, and staff in an afternoon of presentations and discussions exploring the complexity of social work practice in a diverse world.

In addition to brief presentations by BCSSW faculty and staff, there were presentations by Susan B. Parker, former Director of Policy and Research, Office of Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor, and by the staff, students, and parents from the Cotting School in Lexington.
