Public meeting of transportation experts in Biddeford, Maine claims very little knowledge of and almost no support for the East-West Highway "Corridor" project, despite the fact that the Maine legislature passed a bill last session to spend $300,000 of taxpayer money for a feasibility study on behalf of Cianbro CEO Peter Vigue, who wants to build the corridor.
Luckily, Chris Buchanan of Defending Water For Life was on hand to share some of her considerable research into the project proposal. She mentioned a new website with more resources: stopthecorridor.org
