Making phone calls on iMac not working with / Yosemite OS / IOS 8

If your like me and are excited to use your make to make calls and receive text messages from phones that are not iPhones. Well its here finally. I ran across a few problems that you may face. So I wanted to share them to help you save hours of research and guessing.
1. The problem i had was my iCloud accounts were signed in under different email addresses to the same account, and that was enough to stop it from working. So make sure you sign out of all your iCloud accounts and sign back in with the same account and email address.
