A visual poem. An eye haiku. Mind-warping image-in-image. Music by James Sotelo and John Scott G from the "Blast of Fast" album. Video by FookMovie. Part of the "Area Code 666" experimental novel. The novel "Area Code 666" by John Scott G incorporates videos, songs, and visuals of a surreal and delightfully wicked nature. Appearing in serialized form on Ga-Ga.com, the book explores themes of terror and redemption. Lucifer is the narrator of "Area Code 666," and it is a sprawling tale of the devil sending many subordinate devils and entities to earth to observe, infiltrate, tempt, meddle, and wreak havoc on humanity. The ultimate purpose? You, the reader, have some control over that because you can comment on the chapters and even contribute art, photos, prose, songs, or poetry. Speaking about the project, author John Scott G gleefully paraphrases Richard Nixon and Christine O'Donnell by saying "I am not a devil worshiper." There is a long and tortured silence at this point. "No, really," G adds. Another painful pause ensues, followed by G asking, "Wait, is that the scent from a burning lake of sulfur?"
