Part 1 of 3: Composer Suzannah Doyle shows how to give chords a style on piano. Part 1 covers how to think in chords and add rhythmic contrasts in the left and right hand. Part 2 (next video) covers how to create cool bass lines, and Part 3 (3rd video) covers how to create chord arpeggios. Great for beginners learning how to make piano chord playing sound relaxed and natural!

All of these apply to any chord you play, and gives you tools to start creating different styles and feels in your piano playing. These ideas are built on those presented in Piano Dreams: The Movie by Suzannah Doyle & Lyris Cooper.
