"For the Father...has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should *honor the Son just as they honor the Father*. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him." - John 5:22-23
"honor" "timaō" - "to *HONOR*, to *REVERE* (to estimate, fix the value [for the value of something belonging to one's self])"
YHVH said He would not give His honor (kabowd - "reverence") to another. Jesus said the Father wants all to honor (timaō - "revere") the Son JUST AS they honor the Father...according to the definition of the word and its use in this verse, we are to "value/honor/revere" both Father and Son identically...to estimate their worth as the *same*.
YHVH did not give His honor to another... The Son is not "another." He is YHVH in flesh.
Do you honor the Son *just as* you honor the Father? Do you believe YHVH when He said He would not give His honor to *another*?
