VICTORIA -- The Target Theatre Society is staging a live radio play for its annual fundraiser.

Its cast will features local media celebrities, a foley artist, and professional actors. The production is being directed by the former C-FAX personality Barry Bowman.

The company is doing the Pulitzer prize winner, 'You Can't Take it With You', which is about a man from a family of rich snobs who gets engaged to a woman from a clan of eccentrics.

The goal is to entertain audiences by giving them a glimpse at how radio plays from the late 1930's were produced. It's also a chance to raise money for Target Theatre, which stages original plays for seniors by seniors.

The performance is this Saturday night (May 19, 2012) at Langham Court Theatre. You'll find information at http://www.targettheatre.ca
