The Vocal Tract Organ consists of a number of 3-D printed vocal tracts for a vowel that sit on loudspeakers through which a larynx sound is played at the pitch of the note played. This is a prototype Vocal Tract Organ with just five tracts - it is hoped that a larger version can be constructed in the future. Vocal Vision II was written by David M Howard to show what it can do; it is for a tenor, bas and the Vocal Tract Organ - there are four parts in this piece; two are human and two are from the organ. The organ vocal tracts are of me, so I am 'singing' two parts!
