Barbara Boxer, California Senator, spoke at a fund-raiser in Davis on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the home of Liz Merry and Bob Scneider. Senator Boxer is in a campaign to keep her seat in the November 2, 2010 election. She was elected to the House of Representatives in 1992 to represent the Bay Area where she served 10 years. In 1992, she was elected as Senator of California, making history as the first time two women (both Jewish) a state elected two women as senators.
