Fuji TV's 9:00 a.m. timeslot on Sundays is currently held by Dragon Ball Kai, but starting with april 2011 The Toriko television anime will take dragon ball kai's place and will run every sunday at 9 am on fuji tv.

There has been no confirmation yet from either Fuji TV or Toei Animation as to what exactly will happen to Kai. There seems to be only 2 options at this point: the series will be relocated to a different time slot on Fuji TV or the series will be canceled all together; but it doesn't make any sense because the series been one of the top 10 rated anime series every week since syndication began in April 2009.

While we don't know for sure what will happen, here's what we do know...

As of right now the series is set to run up to at least 98 episodes, as stated on Happinet's official release website. With episode 86 of Kai airing this weekend, the final Cell arc episode of the series will air sometime near the end of March 2011, aligning perfectly with the April time schedule listed. And if this truly is the end of Kai, the series will have been in syndication for exactly two years.

this could get pretty interesting ..
