Menuat is helps restaurants and bars make menus more accessible to their customers. The startup makes an all-digital, all-device menu solution that lets customers interact with up-to-date inventory on their mobile devices and lets owners update menus across websites, mobile apps, and in-store video panel installations.

Originally built on Apache CouchDB™, the application uses IBM Cloudant's CouchDB-based managed service to synchronize JSON data that's rendered on different platforms. With Cloudant managing data behind the scenes, menus can be easily updated with a streamlined CMS, and users can search and favorite items on their mobile devices while they’re waiting in line.
