In Part 1 of this behind the scenes look at both the short and full-length version (starring Brad Garrett) of the audaciously violent film, director Jeff Jackson chats with the original lead, Teck Murdoch, about the "curse of Postal Worker"; including a recalcitrant lead actress, a near bankruptcy, a heart attack, and the shootings at Columbine which occurred just weeks after completion. "You could go to hell simply for watching this movie", says director Jackson.
Jackson also discusses the themes of his previous films, including his award winning documentary Death and Taxes, about farmer Gordon Kahl's gun battle with IRS agents in North Dakota, his suspicious death, and the surprising connection between the film, Timothy McVeigh, and the Oklahoma City bombing.
