DOC is the former lead singer and musician for the group OutFront, who was signed by Chris Jasper of the world famous Isley Brothers to their record label, Gold City Records, and is considered one of most prolific vocalist in the business today.

DOC began writing and recording at the age of 11, recording and releasing his first song at the age of 13. He has gone on to write over 2000 songs, and produce artists such as Andre Shepard of LO KEY who later signed with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis' label, St Louis' top R&B group, InStyle, Southern Illinois U-C Jazz Band, recording artist, Myron, Rap artist, JUICE, Smooth Jazz artists, Don Manor and Tom Braxton as well as many unsigned and local Choirs and artists in Atlanta, LA, Chicago and St Louis.

.DOC attended college on a music scholarship, going on to earn a Doctorate degree.
After which he moved to Los Angeles, and worked alongside Gold, and Platinum selling artist, Chris Jasper of the Isley Brothers, studio background work with. Stevie Wonder, Angela Winbush, Marvin Gaye, Peaches and Herb, just to name a few.

.A phenomenal musician in his own right, DOC plays guitar, drums and percussions, keyboards, and bass. He has toured throughout the U.S. and abroad, with on the same show with Foreigner on "I Want to Know What Love is"; Rance Allen, Commission, Yolanda Adams, Allen and Allen, Take 6, and many others.

DOC founded the independent label, Deep Sound Music Group and has recently inked a major distribution deal with Universal/Fontana and Indie Extreme. DOC's first release through DSMG/IE/Fontana, "So Committed" on September 1, 2009 sets the tone of love and romance for couples across the globe. The first singles, "So Committed' and "You're the Only One" were released to Urban AC and Smooth Jazz radio
