Watch today's Pocketnow Daily as we go through the iPhone 5 pre orders, which seem to be quickly running out. We then talk about LG's event along with Qualcomm where we assume the Optimus G will be revealed. We follow with some recent updates on Google Wallet, which are finally positive after years of deployment. Then we talk about Microsoft's recently weird move with Windows Phone 7.8, which we could say, backfired on them. We end today's show talking about some of the unfortunate news about the iPhone 5, so make sure you don't miss out on it.

All this and more after the break.

Continued....so i think i`ll wait until 5s or even iPhone6 comes out..ALSO i listened to the Apple Event and have to say it was the most repetitive event i`ve ever heard (another 90 minutes of dissapointment) but i DO love my 4s without a doubt ,it goes well with my Samsung Note ;) ..this is of course only my opinion and i`m sure there are many others out there that would and would not agree :D
In UK we have used data and voice for years..i`d like a word the iPhone 5 itself, this is what we should have gotten last year (which was my first iPhone) the now 4s which i`ve had for 8 months,Having spent 600GBP on someone else`s upgrade(brand new sealed unlocked White 4s 64gb) i`m not willing to fork out another 700GBP for what seems to me a minor upgrade (allthough siri is now muffled in IOS6..does anyone else have this problem?)maps is a nightmare, thank you Google for coming to the rescue
my day is not complete without hearing the name "Jaime Rivera" xD

well if steve jobs was still alive, he probably wouldve changed ios6 to make it even more user friendly, but now theyre too scared to change the UI cause then people would have to re learn how to use it, thats why ios will most likely never change.
it is a good product and it will be a good upgrade for a person who had a 3gs and maybe a 4(not really). just like you, I hoped for the design to innovate, and i think this is why it is so disappointing, to me. to my perspective the OS has gotten boring and stale and that is one more thing i dislike, after all it has changed much since the 1st iphone

some people might think theyre getting ripped off some might think they arent. i think they released a good product, i like the iphone 5. i was just hoping for a COMPLETE redesign, maybe a more ergonomic design.

People who say phones should only be used as phones need to keep up with the times and realise the term Mobile/Cell "Phone" is a name that does not give justice to today's devices

I use data and calls together all the time, it is very handy...Apple just doesn't get it anymore, Microsoft and Google will bury them!!

It's called a PHONE.. You should use it to PHONE people... Use tablets if you don't want to actually call people.. or an iPod... Geesh...
