My friend and climbing partner, Marius, and I go down to Seneca Rocks West Virginia to take a 3-day traditional climbing course through the Seneca Rocks Mountain Guides.

I have been rock climbing for 3 years, primarily in the gym and sport climbing at the New or the Red. I've followed some single-pitch trad climbs, and a multi-pitch trad climb in Red Rocks with a guide.

In this part: We arrived on Friday evening with enough time to hike up to the observation deck at the north end of the rocks, where we caught a gorgeous sunset. The next morning we got started bright and early, and spent the day climbing 5 pitches total and learning a lot from Kelly, our awesome guide.
