This video shows how cancer may gradually invade the esophagus, other organs and lymph nodes, progressing from early-stage disease to locally advanced disease to late-stage disease. It also discusses tests to locate cancer in the body, including a CT scan, PET scan, PET/CT scan and endoscopic ultrasound, and methods of treating cancer. Mayo Clinic has a very large team with an international reputation for its skill in diagnosing and treating reflux, Barretts esophagus and esophagus cancer.
