That's a great question, but I've not tested the 16-35mm II so can't comment! It's obviously a stop brighter, but around twice the price... so it depends how much you value f2.8...

@tukiexxx Indeed. It would be an awesome all around general use lens on any crop frame including the 550D. More equivalent to a 24 or 28-70mm.

Thank you Very Much, this video is great and informative for people who want to buy a wide angle lens.. i just have a suggestion, why don't you make a comparison video to compare between lenses. for example: 24-70mm F2.8 L vs 24-105mm F4 L.. It will really be helpful.. thanx again ..

Hi Mr. Gordon can tell me how long does canon eos 500d, 550d or 60d can shoot a video ? how long they can shoot video for 720p and 1080p? Tq for ur respond...
