A unique study to understand patterns of medication adherence in Heart of Birmingham, Dr Chris Langley and Dr Joe Bush (School of Life & Health Sciences) discuss the Aston Medication Adherence Study (AMAS). http://bit.ly/vXEXrE

The study has been commissioned by Heart of Birmingham Teaching Primary Care Trust (HoBtPCT) to investigate the extent of low or non-adherence to prescribed medication / drug therapy regimens within the HoBtPCT localities, with a view to designing a system for the early identification of patients susceptible to low adherence/non-adherence, and developing interventions to promote adherence with patients.
