Athena Jones of CNN's "In the Morning" took a deeper look into the failure by the U.S. Senate to pass a bill continuing funding for the FAA, leaving some 70,000 Americans without paychecks and costing the country millions of dollars in lost tax revenue. "In the Morning" took a look at a recent interview Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL 14) on CNN's "In The Arena," where Congressman Mack stated that the failure lay with the Senate and with Harry Reid, who had the power to bring up the funding re-allocation but did not do so. "In the Morning" also looked at recent footage of House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer of Maryland. Source: CNN. Air Date: 8/4/11
