Pyro1 came up trumps on November 27 2011 to make up for the technical hitch which saw £6,000-worth of fireworks go up in 50 secs earlier the same month at Oban's community fireworks display to mark Guy Fawkes night. The resulting publicity saw The Oban Times video of the failed display go viral on the Internet via YouTube. This video shows the five minute display 'OhBang', named after the failed fireworks display in Oban, which was created thanks to the positive reaction to the short but spectacular failure. Despite squalls blowing over Oban Bay, the 'OhBang' display drew hundreds of people to watch the event, marking the end of the 10-day long, first ever Oban Winter Festival.
