The hull has been flipped over and the process of sanding off the old bottom paint takes place. With paint removed, CPES (clear penetrating epoxy sealer) is brushed on the planking to stabilize water absorption and swelling. The bottom is painted, and the the boat is flipped back on its bottom for work to continue on the topsides.
