JOHANNESBURG, 31 March 2017 - A landmark court ruling allows for the possession, cultivation and use of dagga at home by adults. The Western Cape High Court has ordered that certain laws pertaining to the private use of marijuana by adults are unconstitutional.Parliament now has 24 months to amend sections of the Drug Trafficking Act and the Medicines Control Act.​
