Our job is reminding people to be safe.

That's right, Walker. But people seem to have
forgotten some of the basics.

Like what, Carly?

You know, Ryder, like pedestrians not paying attention to what's around them.

When crossing the street, look in front and over your shoulder as well as both ways.

Make eye contact with drivers to be sure you are seen.

Be aware of turning vehicles.

Don't enter the crosswalk until you are ready to cross.

And always wear bright or reflective clothing at night.
