Oops, I did it again! NEW FREE SOLO HIGHLINE WORLD RECORD. It has been my dream to cross the 100m mark for quite some time now and on September 19, in Gorges du Verdon, Southern France, on a 110m long and 200m high line, it became reality. It's hard to find words to describe the feeling of walking such a long line while relying on nothing but your own skills to protect you from falling. The experience was both humbling and rewarding. It was magical and revealing. I felt alive, conscious and happy. Line: 110m long ~200m high Exposure to the valley: 700m Webbing: Double Feather Pro WARNING: Free Solo takes lots of mental and physical training. Free Solo is NOT the ultimate goal in highlining. There are countless other activities on a highline that can be done with security and that are at least as much fun. Free Solo is a personal choice and I do not encourage anyone to try it. I am incredibly grateful for the life that I'm living and will continue to live it to the fullest, knowing my personal limits and staying conscious of what is good for me and why and what isn't. Stay tuned, there will be a longer video showing more of the walk and with more information next week. A huge thank you goes out to my brothers and sister highliners, who went on this unforgettable Slackline trip to Verdon with me, who witnessed and filmed the walk and who supported me during this challenge: Pablo Signoret, Quirin Herterich, Louisa Avenas, Mattis Reisner, Jules Papazian LOVE YOU DUDE GUYS! SLACKLIFE! Big thanks also to all time inspiration Mia Noblet for editing this video! Last but not least a thank you to my sponsors and supporters for keeping me well fed and equipped during this journey! Balance Community: Slackline Outfitters, Red Fox Outdoor Equipment, Sole Runner Barefoot Shoes, müsli.de, Jimmy Joy, Julbo Eyewear, Ticket To The Moon, Blackroll, and One Inch Dreams! And to my parents and Catrina Sisco: Thanks for loving me anyway!
