Libyan leader Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi explains his opposition to the Mediterranean Union being advocated by French president Nicolas Sarkozy. He argues such a union is pointless if there cannot be unity among the Arabs of North Africa (the Maghreb region) and the Middle East. He further is against a union that would have to be accountable to Brussels with Europeans that "walk around naked".
