Kyle Fleischmann Family searches for 24 year old missing almost 2 years

CHARLOTTE 24-year-old Kyle Fleischmann went missing in November of 2007 after a night out in Uptown Charlotte. And although its been almost two years since he disappeared, the familys search continues.

Family and friends described him as kind and caring. A 2006 graduate of Elon University, the 24-year-old volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and Special Olympics.

Fleischmann was last seen at Fuel Pizza in Uptown Charlotte between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m. His dad said he stopped there after attending a concert earlier that night.

Patrons and employees at the pizza restaurant remember seeing Fleischmann. His dad was even able to determine that he bought two slices of pizza that night.

Investigators also said he made three unanswered calls to friends about a half hour later. But what happened after that is a mystery.

He was last seen by some friends leaving, and he just pretty much vanished. We dont know what happened to him, Monica Caison, of the Cue Center, said.

Investigators also have surveillance tape of Fleischmann leaving Buckhead Saloon. And police have a new video of him, but theyre not prepared to release the tape yet.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said they are still getting tips, but at a slower pace.

Fleischmann will turn 26 on Sept. 24. There is a $50,000 reward for information about him. If you have any information about his disappearance, call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
