This episode is about Team Fortress 2 and Steam on an Ubuntu Linux PC.

Valve has opened the Steam Client Beta for Linux to the public. And as Team Fortress 2 is one of the best Free-to-Play Games available... well, why not giving it a try?!

The FPS and the stability seems pretty good under the premise you have decent hardware to play games.

And not only Team Fortress 2 is free, also is Ubuntu Linux.

So in the end you can run a Gaming-Rig where the Operating System (OS) and the Game (TF2) is totaly free. I take this as a big step in PC gaming as were not talking about indie or casual games. This is a blockbuster! Plus the fact that Valve (the company behind steam and it´s games) announced a console like Xbox and PS3 which will run Linux as OS.

There´s already ~50 games for Linux available in steam and the list is growing every day.
