Former President Bill Clinton responded to comments made by fellow former President Jimmy Carter about criticism to President Obama, on "Larry King Live."
"I believe that some of the right wing extremists which oppose President Obama are also racially prejudiced, and prefer not to have an African-American President," Clinton said, but did not say that all of the right wing share that view. "We should disaggregate lingering problems of discrimination from the attacks," he said.
Clinton also said that while he didn't think Carter was wrong to share his views, he's "exceedingly sensitive" being a "white Southerner."
