Pioneer SX-780 / Do it Yourself DC Balance of Power Amplifiers.

Need a multimeter set at DC Volts, for example 200mV range.
- Disconnect speakers.
- Function set at an input with no load on it.
- Volume set at zero.
- Tones flat (sety at middle)
- Positive pin of multimeter at pin 6 or 9, negative at ground (lateral metal side - chassis)
- Locate potentiometers VR5(left channel, left pot) and VR6(right channel, right pot) (BLUE ones at the central part of the components board, looking form above after removing the wooden cover)

Procedure:
Turn on the receiver. With positive at pin 9, negative at ground, rotate VR5 (pot on the left side) until zero mV is zero. Left channel is adjusted!
Now turn off the receiver, put multimeter positive on pin 6. Turn on the receiver. Rotate VR6 (pot on the right side) until zero mV (or close value) is obtained. Right channel is adjusted!

Remember:
VR5 (LEFT channel is the pot on the left side as seen from above) Pin Nº9 & GND
VR6 (RIGHT channel is the pot on the right side as seen from above) Pin N°6 & GND
