Students from the University of New Hampshire are excited to share the real world work experience that they acquired from unique internships at the Portsmouth, NH site of Lonza Biologics, one of the world’s leading and most-trusted suppliers to the pharmaceutical, biotech and specialty ingredients markets. Thanks to a strong working relationship with Lonza, UNH is helping to train the next generation of workers by offering these students a chance to spend their summers learning to apply knowledge they learned in the classroom to solve problems, contribute to a large corporation, expand their professional network and develop transferable skills that can be used to compete when they go out into the workplace. Founded in 1897 in the Swiss Alps, Lonza today is a well-respected global company with more than 50 major manufacturing and R&D facilities and nearly 14,000 full-time employees worldwide.
