In an interview from 1989, Eugene Delgaudio, executive director of Public Advocate, speaks of their mission, the numerous political plays put on by them, and how others and their communities can join the fight.

In this second part, Eugene talks about Public Advocate's involment in the "Deserters for Dukakis and Kerrey" protest, the congressional pay raise controversy, the Barney Frank prostitute scandal, and the demonstrations against the supreme court's desicion to allow the burning of American flags.
