Another collection of random subjects, actions and occurrences at the Big Sandy machine-gun shoot. Recorded between March 2012 and October 2012. Thanks to all of the willing shooters who held the trigger down when the cameras were rolling. Thanks to all of the camp builders and extra photographers that it took to cover this large event.
The slow motion in this video is from the experienced and talented YouTuber taofledermaus who I call Slo-Mo-Jeff. His dual Casio EX-F1's show you the detail that most miss. I also found myself without a cam2 or cam3 op, so I was able to use a lot of his 29.97 fps stuff too. Jeff worked the October shoot from the moment he arrived until the shoot ran out of ammo and participants. He worked through his normal sleep cycle and then some- sacrificing for the access and angles. Next time we need to setup a tent and a cot for crying out loud. This would not be the same video without him and his second unit director Billy. Check out his channel for most of the slow motion raw footage used here. He also has an extensive line of well produced videos on other subjects.
This promotional video was for the MG Shooters LLC table at the Small Arms Review show at the State Fairgrounds in Phoenix, Arizona, 30NOV-01, 02 DEC 2012.

If you are a video geek and can camp in remote areas, we need you to work this shoot. Send me a note! I'm always looking for video production people who want to help at the shoot. Don't say your mobile phone is your camera experience!
