I discuss my experience breaking in the bike as per the Kawasaki recommend break-in, which is 0-500 miles no more than 4000rpm, 500-1000miles no more than 6000rpm, 1000+ miles as much as you like up to the red line

a hard break-in is the best thing to do, if you dont youll have blow by out of your ass, and you also dotn need to put many miles on the break-in oil maby 100miles

@JakeD0ggs I am, and I did have to have that stupid L for a while, in July no more 33bhp restriction for me, that will be 2 years after passing my test :)
