Dropshippers & Dropship: a video demonstration
(visit http://methinks.info/dropshipsuppliers for directory of dropshippers and wholesalers)

What is drop ship? How to dropship? For online retail, finding trusted merchandise suppliers is important. Good source of merchandise supplies give you profitable goods and customer support as well as variety. With dropshipping, your customer's order is drop shipped directly from the wholesaler. You don't need to stock any inventory. Online retail can be done through market places such as eBay, amazon. You can also build retail websites yourself using some free shopping cart such as zencart, or you can build free webstores such as vendio, ecrater. Dropship is a good way for volume selling. With multiple trusted dropship suppliers, all you need to do to maintain your storefront is download/upload inventory datafeed.

In this video, I demonstrate a retail shopping site of mine (built with zencart) and some sales record, a vendio webstore and its sales record. I also show a sample datafeed spreadsheet.

The advantage of selling on ebay and amazon is that they do the advertising for you, but you still have to compete for ranking against fellow sellers. The advantage of selling from your own website or webstores is that you don't have to pay any fees. In that case, you compete in the larger google market place (google merchant center, formerly google base).

With online retail, you can literally set it up and start making money in a matter of hours. Do not procrastinate. Start making money now!
