Text: The 13th century castle of Neu-Bechburg in Oensingen has a rich history. Once home to brave knights, it was later the seat of the Bishop of Basel, a poor house, a private residence, an inn, a plundered ruin, and finally a museum. When the present owners took charge, they also took on the resident ghost. (swissinfo, Julie Hunt)
