Students with disabilities get to meet life-saving professionals. The students are with Project SEARCH, one of the largest job training programs in the country for students with disabilities. At HackensasckUMC, they got to meet the crew of AirMed One, the medical transport helicopter of Hackensack Meridian Health. Ihor Sawczuk, M.D., the president of HackensackUMC, was there to greet the students and spoke about the importance about the Project SEARCH program and how the medical center is committed to helping the students learn about various aspects of health care during their internship.
