A quick look at GNOME Shell running on my laptop, upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 from 11.04. We look at the Adwaita theme, GNOME Sushi previewer (not installed by default), and some other stuff.

The days of compiling from scratch are over!

Note: you can install the Sushi previewer in Ubuntu 11.10 (works under Unity, too) by using
sudo apt-get install gnome-sushi
