This is my own arrangement of Rue's Lullaby from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. The melody, music, and singing is my own but the lyrics are written and owned by the amazing Suzanne Collins.
I composed, recorded, and uploaded this BEFORE the movie version was released so for everyone commenting on it not being from the movie I KNOW. I did not intend this to be the movie version but my own version. I'm sorry if it wasn't what you were expecting but please don't leave a negative comment about it. Just go and find the official version if that's what you're wanting to listen to.
Thanks for all the lovely comments everyone! I really appreciate it. :D
Unfortunately I do not have any sheet music for this song because I came up with the tune myself and just played it by ear. Sorry about that. :/
Oh and feel free to make your own covers of this version of Rue's Lullaby! Just be sure that if you use my tune you credit me for it. And if you do make a cover of this version be sure to send it to me! I would love to see it. :)
Deep in the meadow, under the willow A bed of grass, a soft green pillow Lay down your head, and close your sleepy eyes And when again they open, the sun will rise.
Here it's safe, here it's warm Here the daisies guard you from every harm Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true Here is the place where I love you.
Deep in the meadow, hidden far away A cloak of leaves, a moonbeam ray Forget your woes and let your troubles lay And when again it's morning, they'll wash away.
Here it's safe, here it's warm Here the daisies guard you from every harm Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true Here is the place where I love you. Here is the place where I love you.
