In this video I'm showing my Exporter for KTX files. It is able to load most common images format and to convert them to KTX (Khronos TeXtures). The tool is programmed in C++ using the following libraries and Code::blocks + mingw :
Irrlicht, POCO, GLEW, OpenGL

Since those libraries are opensource and cross-platform every one can compile the tool to run on his machine. The current features are:
-Ability to create RGB compressed (DXT1) textures (DXT1 is the most common , and best supported format in many commercial engines, and is the minimum required by anyone who want to ship an AAA commercial game with OpenGL)
-Plugin based (really easy to use plugin interface)
-Ability to load different Images files (thanks to Irrlicht.. a great 3D engine): JPG, PNG, TGA, BMP, PCX, PPM, PSD, WAL, RGB.

I wrote that tool for using it in my OpenGL/OpenGLES based engine wich can read KTX textures. I have also writed a KTX loader for Irrlicht and another KTX loader for OpenGL based applications.

The tool is plugin-based so that anyone can improve it (I will write more plugins too)
