CALL TO ACTION: Town of Snowmass Village Mayor Bill Boineau has been listening to concerns and allegations of abuse regarding the Krabloonik sled dogs since at least 2008. The owner of Krabloonik has been charged with eight counts of animal cruelty. Mayor Boineau promised, despite the outcome of the cruelty case, a robust, public process on behalf of the dogs in a letter to the editor that was published in the Aspen Times and Aspen Daily News in December 2013.
