Spyderco Techno Review - http://bladereviews.com/spyderco-tech...

I recommend purchasing the Techno here: http://bladereviews.com/bladehq-spyde...

Awesome knife. Very little to gripe about if you can get around the price (~$190 at retail).

Designed by Marcin Slysz of Poland, this is a very interesting little Spyderco. With a sub 3" blade and a weight of around 3.5 ounces, this is a chunky little nugget of a knife. That said, it is extremely solid with an ultra-thick 4.5 mm blade of CTS-XHP steel, full titanium handles, a partial g10 backspacer, and beautiful construction / fit and finish. This is one of the most solid lockups I have experienced in recent memory in a sub $200 production grade folder - absolutely insane how solid this one feels. And I tested it pretty hard, cutting through 5/8" rope, whittling through a 2"x2", and of course demolishing stacks of paper and cardboard. You get hard use cutting action in something that is very easy to EDC and friendly enough to bust out in front of co-workers. And it's a charming little design - I like the "eyebrow" of the Techno and the overall clean looks of this knife. Highly recommended if you like small knives and have the money.
