Kaiser engaged "Dutch" Darrin to restyle the Kaiser in 1951. This is the logical evolution of that styling. It actually was pretty advanced for the year. It appeared long, low, and somewhat sensuous with that Darrin "dip" at the top of the windshield and backlight, and the chrome trim under the windows. Glass area was actually quite large for the time. Darrin had also styled Packards back in the 30's.
