***Human powered! I've had this toy for many years and don't know much about it. Folks may call it a boomerang, but it sure doesn't look like a typical one. It's a bit crude, but effective and made in the USA. Wikipedia describes a boomerang is a thrown tool typically constructed as a flat aerofoil, that is designed to spin about an axis perpendicular to the direction of its flight. A returning boomerang is designed to circle back to the thrower. Boomerangs have been historically used for hunting, as well as sport, and entertainment. If you have any information about this particular toy, I would appreciate hearing about it. Thanks very kindly for watching this bit of history.
