Presentation by Paolo Cirio at the Interactive Reality Conference on 24 November 2013 during the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam. Organized by IDFA DocLab (www.idfa.nl/doclab) and De Brakke Grond, this one-day conference explored the future of documentary storytelling in the age of the interface. Interactive pioneers from both traditional and new documentary media shared how they navigate the digital revolution, the mistakes they made and their visions are for the future. Speakers included Jonathan Harris (We Feel Fine / I Love Your Work), Vincent Morisset (BlaBla / Just a Reflektor), Kira Pollack (TIME Magazine), Loc Dao (National Film Board of Canada), Marianne Levy Leblond (ARTE France), Jason Brush (Possible), Sarah Wolozin (MIT), Paolo Cirio (Street Ghosts), Ingrid Kopp (Tribeca New Media), Adnaan Wasey (POV Digital). The conference was presented by Ove Rishoj Jensen (EDN) and curated by Caspar Sonnen (IDFA DocLab) and Veerle Devreese (De Brakke Grond).
