SXSW 2016 Conference In Blended Learning environments there is some element of student control over time, place, path or pace. Video is often used asynchronously here, whereas Live streaming can allow for both synchronous and asynchronous use. There are multiple Live streaming platforms available with a variety of features. This session aims to simplify and present one multi-device Live streaming platform whose features have been evaluated to specifically support its effective use as a tool with students in future Blended Learning environments. Attendees will see an example of how this Live streaming tool has been used to engage over 50 students worldwide in intensive synchronous study using online gaming.
