My favorite GG song is his cover of Kitty Wells "Pick Me Up On Your Way Down" ~ but then again I was at his early 90's show at Club Spacefish in central Florida and interviewed him earlier in the afternoon. Contrary to popular belief, GG was extremely intelligent and had an incredible knowledge of music outside the punk rock realm.

It's funny how many people still hate GG for things he did, as they presently live in a society where date rape is common, people piss and shit on eachother for "kinky" sex, torture isn't uncommon, school killings every 6 months, men had women kidnapped in their house for 30 years, mothers drown their babies and GGs the bad guy? More like he was the reflection of the America that had yet to come, our present day.

70's to mid 80's GG is by far the best imo. After all the prison stints he was just self destructive and even more angry.. Most of the music was just nonsensical noise. Early is the best.

Damn, GG was actually pretty fucking good back in the early days. I mean, I love his more recent stuff, but this right here is actually pretty well structured music. I wonder what would've happened if he didn't ingest copious amounts of drugs and destroyed himself...

So GG didn't just shout nonsense and throw his own faeces at his audiences? Some cool songs here...
