What's going on inside the Barbican cloakroom?

The Ministry of Measurement runs from 7-18 August 2013, and is part of Hack the Barbican (http://hackthebarbican.org).

The Ministry of Measurement is a study of institutional data consumption and the subjectivity of measurement and data processing, combined with references to 60's brutalist architecture and cinema.

The Ministry of Measurement is manned by efficient, polite but robot-like staff who solicit members of the public to go out into the Barbican and collect measurement data for them which is duly stamped, officiated and fed into a machine on their return. The resulting printout is hung up whilst the machine feeds the data to speakers as participating members of the public get to see and hear the results of their labours.
