A quick overview of the Android mobile applications from LigoWave. Installer tool simplifies the installation process of wireless equipment and WNMS mobile helps network monitoring.

LigoWave and Deliberant present two new mobile applications:

1. Installer app
2. WNMS mobile app

These applications simplify deployment and installation of wireless equipment. The installer application makes it easy to align and test your links during the device installation.

There are multiple ways to input your equipment GPS data
- import by a WNMS
- linkcalc
- Google Earth KMZ file

Entering the coordinates manually you will be able to see the relative direction of the remote location on the radar screen. This allow you to target the distant device on the display of the smartphone. Imagine a long distance link installation with foggy and rainy weather conditions. Antenna alignment could take ages, but not with our installer application. When connection between the devices is established a series of RSSI level based tones will allow fine-tuning of your link to perfection and finally, once antenna alignment is done, a speed test can be performed to ensure solid and efficient operation of the wireless link.

All deployed links should be monitored and that's where WNMS mobile application comes into place. After successful alignment and testing, the device can be registered on your WNMS server together with automatically acquired GPS coordinates from your mobile phone. With the WNMS mobile application you can see the inventory of your devices, visualize your network on Google Maps and receive alerts that can be switched to tasks for other users responsible for maintaining and network monitoring. All the assignments come as push notifications and a live status of each task can be seen.

The applications are free and available for download on the Google Play Store.
